Join us Sunday June 19th at the Katnap Dance Center for a fire dancing workshop taught by Zen Arts and Cirque du Soleil fire artist Srikanta Barefoot.
Srikanta is highly-skilled in all forms of fire art and has been coaching since 2003, with 3 of those years spent at Cirque, where he was single-handedly responsible for prop design, fuel testing, and choreography for fire elements of Cirque show Zaia.
Classes are back to back, with all levels (beginner through advanced) poi beginning at 1 pm, and all levels staff beginning at 2:30 pm. Each workshop is $35, or a flat $60 to attend both. This is a great trial workshop to see if you’d like to sign up for the 5 week beginner and 6 week intermediate classes that will be beginning on July 3rd and July 6th, respectively.
